Finished (twice!)

20060227_008_1 My Olympic entry was Branching Out, my first attempt at lace. I finished with a week to spare and decided to attempt a second one. (I felt like a wimp compared to some of the projects people were doing.)

I graduated from Silky Wool to the fingering weight Frog Tree Alpaca. I finished knitting on Saturday and had the second one blocked before the closing ceremonies. Here's a picture of the pair.

Now back to my regularly scheduled knitting....Will we do this for the 2008 summer Olympics?

Wow, TWO lace scarves in two weeks! Congratulations!

And yes indeed, we should absolutely do this again in '08!

Your scarves look lovely, good job!
