It's day 6 and I've made lots of progress on my sweater from Norsk Strikkedesign (page 46), but not nearly enough. Are there medals for Close But No Cigar? If so, I might strive for one of those. I'm not sure if I could finish this even if I give up doing anything else for the next 10 days besides knitting and sleeping!
Here's what I've got so far:

It's thrilling to see the pattern emerge, and the yarn I'm using (Peruvian Highland Wool from Elann) feels lovely, so this is a total pleasure to knit, especially now that I have the charts blown up to 300%. 9 inches and knitting!

That's a lovely pattern. It will be fun to see it progress!

I'm in the same boat with my project, Alice Starmore's Kinsale. I think it's barely possible I'll finish both the front and the back, but the loooong sleeves will take another week. Still, that's a total of 130,000 stitches on size one needles, and it IS looking beautiful, so hard to be unhappy about that! Knit on!

Er, I'm in a boat of similar description, too. Your work looks beautiful!
Knit on! We'll whip these puppies yet!
