Who's going? Which day? Whacha doin'? Is there anyone already suggesting a meetup? If so, where? In addition, who's up for margaritas & dinner after?
Sound off in the comments if we're likely to run into you and which day.
I, for one, will be arriving Saturday AM and tucking myself neatly into the fleece judging tent for a bit to gain me some edumacation. It maybe has not escaped anyone's notice that it might also be to my benefit to stay the f*^k away from the vendors for a teeny-tiny bit until a chaperone can be recruited to help prevent accidents on the scale of say.... this one. Anyone want the job? You should know...I can be wiley in the spendiness tricks...Is that gelato over there? See that booth in corner? You should totally go check that out. I'll be right here with the cashmere. I promise, I won't move an inch until you get back. Scout's honor.
My parents and I are meeting up at 11 at the green entrance! If you want someone to keep you from spending, hang with my dad. I'm not saying he's cheap but . . . oh wait, yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. Unless we were going to a golf club festival, then it's ok to spend some dough.
He's looking forward to seeing the herding dogs. Any odea if they go on all day or is it only at a certain time?
Also, I heard tell of a picnic, but now I can't find the email. We're all up for that! My mom is making what she thinks is enough swiss fudge for everyone. I recommend getting a piece as soon as you can. :)

I'll be there Sat. morning and into the early afternoon. Not sure about the evening, but margaritas are SO yummy. I must find a way to get there.
Someone making plans for a lunch meetup?

WARNING: I've shopped with Kellee before. It will not be an easy job to stop her from spending :-) Just remind her of the "envelopes"
Mwah, Kellee... you know I love you!

yes, I'll be there. Cate and I want to do another picnic with everyone. She knows where and we'll get out an email but want to make sure not to leave anyone out. Dale and I are staying overnight in Concord so we're up for dinner Saturday night, too, if plans are being made. Woot!

Okay - I love watching the shearing, etc., and usually, while the shearing is going on, I can keep myself from spending money - so I am *totally* up for hanging with ya for that.
But, um, I made a full bobbin of mostly yarn, and well, I need to buy stuff to make more. STAT! So, um, y'know.
I'm thinking that having Mr. Concateknit around for part of the day will at least keep me *slightly* in control regarding the spending...
Any news on the Mr. Obsession front? Will he or won't he?

You know I'll be there. See you at the judging.
And you know I'm the WORST possible person to prevent accidents on the scale of The Case of the Mysterious Shetland Fleece in the Mail. In fact I encourage them. ;)

Dude, I'm there. We're in negotiations about our departure time on Saturday. The weather isn't supposed to be this crappy, is it?

Can't wait. Will likely have the hubby and kids in tow, so a picnic would be fabulous! (If no kids and no hubby, I will get there much earlier and may join you in Fleece 101).

I'm there. And if you think I'm going to help you not spend money...think more. I'm the worst kind of Enabler. Just warning you early.

I'll be there. The covered Picnic tables by the alpacas is a good meetup place, or between the exibition buildings, where the Bosworths sell their motely wooden-y spindles and things (trying to put people off -- get it? ::wink:: *stage whisper* more for us) If it rains, we really should determine where to meet, say at noon after the fleece judging in the fleece barn or something like that.

I'm in for Saturday morning and early afternoon! I warned DH that if we go, I'm just gonna want to meet more people and buy more yarn, and he said, "OK." It's a Mother's Day indulgence, I'm sure. PeachPit (3.3 years, and the product of two sets of genes for focused determination) will be with us, and new convert Alice, a visiting student from Germany, the land of exquisite lace patterns. As I sit writing this comment and looking out at the pouring rain, I'm wondering what our picnic options are if the weather is similarly crappy on Saturday, or even if the ground is squishy. "Covered picnic tables" sounds pretty workable though competitive. Maybe a small advance group could turn up ~ 11:30 and squat (Yup, sign me up).

I'll be sitting outside in another state at that point, watching all things pomp and circumstance. I thought I could swing by NH on my way back, but I'm not driving and thus will have to sit this one out.
have a great time!
