Wow. Look at y'all! If I were to tell you that I got all verklempt at the outpouring of cheer and excitement for us, you'd probably just chalk it up to hormones, so instead I'll tell you that the man of the house got a little choked up his own self, yes he did. Thanks for all the good wishes and encouragement, we both appreciate the big love.
Speaking of big love, how do you know I love my husband very, very, very much?
Uh huh - the very first thing to come off my needles for this kid is not some super-adorable pair of luxury angora baby booties, or one of Kate's uber-fantastic kidlett patterns, or even Cari's Yoda Wrap, ALL of which are HIGH on the to-be-knit list for this kid. Nope, WeeBeastie's first handknit sweater is, instead, ready for the Gator Gridiron. If that's not love, I'm sure I don't know what is.
Oh, and for all the homegirls here in Boston:
14 weeks.
I like this belly. It's so wee and cute and feminine at this stage. And the boobs.....good lord, the boobs. I mean, I recognize that they don't look all that big here, but they are far bigger than they were just 14 weeks ago.
