Just in time inventory.

Look!!! Mittens!

Both are now resting peacefully on a soft, fluffy towel awaiting tomorrow night's big storm. Of course, NOW I need some fingerless mitts/gloves because it's SO FREAKING COLD in here.

And now back to our regularly scheduled socks and scarves.

Did I mention that it was cold?

 

Now, you may look at this and think to yourself "Hey, that doesn't look like either a sock OR a scarf!". And you know what? You'd be totally right. It is, in fact, a mitten. My second mitten (ever) made to match the little beauty below that was completed last weekend. I decided that it would just be silly to only have one mitten here tomorrow when our high is supposed to be a whopping 15.

Lest you fear that I am getting sidetracked or (heaven forbid) overly ambitious, let me assure you that the aforementioned sock is in my bag patiently awaiting tomorrow morning's train ride to work, and my sari silk is staring sulkily at me from the coffee table as I type. For now though, I must go back to this mitten. It's darned cold here.
