Side to side garter stitch scarf (ala the Harlot)
Yarn: Lion Brand WoolEase Chunky
(leftovers from teaching a couple friends to knit LAST NYE-2004)
Needles: Crystal Palace 36" 10 1/2 circs
As it turns out, I love this yarn. This scarf is soft, cozy, completely itch-free and warm as heck. It also took about a second and a half to make, and couldn't have cost more than a couple of bucks worth of yarn. Can't beat that. Except maybe with cashmere, but who's quibbling?
Yarn: Colorado Yarn's 'Vail'
Pattern: My standard top down sock
For Rick: spirited "lucky game day" socks.
Pattern: Ann Budd Handy pattern top down
Yarn: Knitpicks Sock Landscapes "Mesa"
Needles: Addi Turbo size #3?
Pattern: Mine - adapted from Ann Budd's Handy Patterns
Yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash
Needles: Addi Turbo Circs, size 6.
This is my third pair of the 220 superwash socks and I LOVE the socks this produces. They're thick, scrunchy, comfy, WAY soft, and everyone loves them. Also? Worsted weight socks? So.Fast. Seriously, a-sock-a-day fast. And that's for people with normal sized feet. These were for my MIL's size 5 1/2 feet. 5 1/2!

Yarn: Berroco Pleasure
Pattern: Reversible Cable Scarf - Sheldridge Farms, purchased at the Rhinebeck '05 fiber frenzy.
Needles: Denise #13's
This yarn is a merino/angora blend, and is light, sumptuous, and very, very soft.
The pattern is part of a kit from Shelridge farms (www.shelridgefarms.com) that came with some of SF's lovely superwash worsted weight yarn and the pattern is simply called "Reversible Scarf". I'm not sure if this link will work b/c of the way their site is written, but you can try this: http://www.shelridge.com/details.php?z=z171. Don't be discouraged by the picture on their site. It looks like ass, but is really this fantastic, easier-than-it-looks stitch pattern that I enjoyed knitting immensely. The yarn in my scarf isn't theirs, not b/c I don't like it (b/c i DO, and am using the kit yarn in something else entirely) but b/c i was really looking hard for something to do with that Berocco Pleasure that I had just picked up. I just adjusted the needle size un the pattern up to fit the slightly bulkier yarn.
Rick and I fight over this scarf almost daily.

Christmas gift for my 4 year-old nephew
I didn't understand people's craziness over this stuff until it touched it/knitted with it. Yeah. I SO get it now. Lordy, is this stuff soft and fluffy. There was a certain amount of separation anxiety on giving this away. Just LOOK at how cute it is! And did I mention soft? And fluffy?

No real pattern. Knit a giant tube, do some reductions, throw it in the washing machine.
Socks for me using my basic Ann Budd top down pattern. Yarn is some WAY soft handspun (by me) merino handpainted by Amy at Boogieknits. Purple toes are commercial yarn for a little extra strength.
